The Government is considering the most sweeping and radical changes to Australia's surveillance and intelligence laws since the establishment of the original powers in 1979.

As someone who works in the field of IT security, it astonishes me how people upload incredibly sensitive information online time and time again. It is my belief that IT security best practices should be taught in schools long with maths and English because let's face it, it's not like the internet is a fad! It's here to stay, so why not be trained in how to use it at least? 99% of people have no clue how the internet even works on a macro level, yet alone know how to protect their privacy.

Its going to take half a century to pay back all the debt if they keep spending. Their investment in schools failed because they allowed contractors to charge up to 5x the standard quote and accepted single quotes without checking around. Principles in schools weren't allowed to know how much it cost till they had to sign off at the end and spew everywhere lol.
