  • Doctor gives a ton of reasons and treatments for back pain

    Acupuncture guy basically says "we treat back pain"

    Pulls out acupuncture table

    Fuck this show

  • This quack is placing needles that have not been sterilized with his dirty hands into a non-sterile field. MRSA here we come. This is one of the dozens of things wrong with this "medical" program.

  • I'm looking for the acupunctute Dr. that was on the

    dr.Oz show

  • humans observed birds in flight, long before they were able to explain and understand it;

  • You are right arizona4christ..

    many tests have already been made and its been proven that it doesn't work as anything more than a stress relieving experience and placebo effect.

    There is no such this as chi or bio energy either.

  • @Arizona4Christ Seems you have your mind pretty much made up (as to what to believe). I begin to wonder if you have even bother to read & understand what I wrote previously.These aren't the mere "feel good" placebo effects: I could go into details if we used youtube messages to each other rather than rely on comment threads w/word limit. Few examples include help w/addiction & psychiatric conditions by REDUCING the dosage of the drugs, reducing to eliminating dosage of cholesterol med etc.

  • @pagielme4ever What does message board mean? Yes but you have to realize that people get cured from things like sugar pills and faith healing and we do have a good reason why...placebo. Other than a relaxing time that eases stress anything outside of that I'm saying placebo.

  • For sure, I am also against scams out there! I personally know someone who practices acupuncture who happens to be very good at it and it is Not a matter that for some people it works & not others. ALL of the patients (for various conditions) this acupunturist has treated have seen dramatic improvement healthwise & seen their main complaint/s taken care of. We know it works (properly done). We don't know precisely HOW it works.Scientifically we are at Observation/hypothesis stage. message board?

  • @pagielme4ever I'm just against people making money on placebos like homeopathic for instance. Sure it will work for some people, just as a sugar pill will, but charging people money for nothing...scam. Like Chiropractic for example, all that magical non sense of it curing asthma etc yet no research validate anything besides help with back pain. I think its simply an endorphin releasing experience, which does have benefits, but lets just call it like it is. Not all the unproven chi nonsense.

  • @Arizona4Christ, "Chi" is simply body's energy or overall bioenergy which the body harnesses from ATP to maintain homeostasis which is not incompatible with molecular biology(Tho TCM purists disagreement is theoretical). In think you are overcomplicating the issue. It's just semantics (& theory)_if it's useful fine, if not chuck it. There is no contradiction. Like I said, results depend on the skill of the practitioner: just poking one spot doesn't do much w/o manipulation. Use message board?
