  • I love how f*ckin Iggy still looks like a crazy ass young Iggy and acts the part ,whereas, Willaimson looks nothing like these old pics, more like a middle aged older man that could be your uncle!

  • I'm going with Artaud on this one. The original sound quality is not good, but it has a feel that reminds me of sitting on my floor spinning vinyl when I was in college. There's something about that unique sound that has a patina of nostalgia for me. . . I'm sticking with the original!

  • @PAULLONDEN Cheers . Enjoy hard music

  • I don't have the remixed version, but if this song is any indication of what it sounds like, I really prefer the original vinyl. Perhaps because I associate it with a particular time in my life. That album meant a LOT to me, and I loved the way it sounded. Still, I will buy this new version.

  • @kingofpunk1977 INdeed..Like "Raw Power"....Great promo. This classic deserves the "restored' treatment.

Has somewhat of an "Exile" groove.

  • @rdor011 It's not a Stooges album, it is Iggy Pop and James Williamson, plus Scotty Thurston, Brian Glascock, John Harden and Steve Harden and some others, definitely not The Stooges.

  • So when is ZOmbie Birdhouse being re-released, if remastered, hunh hunh?

  • @rdor011 I thought it wasn't considered a Stooges album?

  • The re-mix is great, the sound has weight and depth this time. Best Stooges album that never was. It only took 35 years to be heard as it should!

  • Ok Kill City came out this week & I bought it today. Have no doubts the sound quality IS SUPERB AUDIOPHILE QUALITY. It is at long last the album that you can put up there with New Values,The Idiot & Funhouse & yes I prefer it over Raw Power. Now I realize that Bowie took his sound for tracks like Breaking Glass, Joe the Lion & Blackout
