Love this band!
Like the drive in the song, suits the strumming pattern, such as it is.

You may hear the background tambourine? That was played 'live,' with no rehearsal, by The Small Monstrosity! He of the 'Jolene' filming video fame!

This song features the 'unplayable' E chord on the ukulele. The scourge of every beginner cross over guitarist/ ukulele! So it was good practise to try and get a clear sound from it.

Filmed using the new toy- Zoom Q3. Not bad but a bit dark, sorry about that!
But as always, enjoy!

  • Fantastic! :-) I do an E totally different, but I've just had a go, and your way is easier lol, thanks for that! :-) X

  • Ne'er a truer word said! I usually try and choose a cover that hasn't been done to death...too much!

  • I wouldn't say a 'fan' but I like most of the stuff I've heard of theirs. I was going to do 5 years time but I thought that maybe it was a bit overdone.

  • How lovely. Very good version, and the tambourine man did great! I've been listening to the albums more and more and loving them.

Going to see Laura Marling too in a few weeks, so more links there...

    Hope you're OK.

  • Didn't know you were a fan?! I saw them on the last tour and they were great, as is the new-ish album. And as always, thanks for the comment!

  • Yay for Jonah and the Whale!

    Excellenté
