@1993TMAXX the slower an engine operates , the more chance of carbon building up. such as in 2 stroke engines like on weed eaters or blowers. you have to run them WIDE OPEN to keep carbon from building up.. they teach you that on NASCAR. b/c the rate the stuff comes in it doesnt have time to SIT. even on 4 stroke engines, you have to open them up. you ever see an old car smoke when you first start it up? thats b/c its been what ? SITTING. just like exercise is good for you. so plaque dont build

did you know that flooring your car and going at high rpms will carbonate the system more. The best way to decarbonate an engine is to ride it normal (not quickly). People may think "no because high rpms burn more..." ya but high rpms makes the computer inject more streams of gasoline in the combustion chamber.

2001 cavalier doesnt and never did have a SOHC engine, it uses a OHV design, research it

i dont think so the average suburban does 0-60 in about 9-10 seconds but thanks for trying to rag on a cavalier its because of people like you that i do them up

no they never made a sohc cavalier its an ohv 2.2

I timed about 10 which isn't a big difference i have the same car and i used Lucas oil and i have an brand new air filter and i cleaned the injector i did about 8-9 second to 60, but hey its a cavalier not something to beat up you know?
our Z71 chevy suburman can do 0-60 in 7-8sec! and that is an suv! lol nice car :)

Just bought a Z24 cavalier and let just say no more 10 sec 0-60... I burn through 1rst and 2nd and i chirp them in 3rd
