  • this sounds like rusholm ruffians?

  • @ThisCharmingman16 He sings only part of this music in the introduction of Rusholm Ruffians. It seems, more NOT IS Rusholm Ruffians.

  • Thanks for posting, too bad Morrissey did not sing the entire song.

  • Does anyone know how to get from Newprt Pagnell from here? Why is it the last mile is always the hardest?

  • Im quite sure they used to play this right before Rusholme Ruffians and used to go into it from the end of this intro

  • Like it

  • @amtrotec2 is there a significance for the smiths doing that? i've noticed in their live performances it's not uncommon for them to start off with one song and finish it with another. hopefully you know what i'm talking about, if not, check out rubber ring/what she said =)

  • @ABoyInTheBush yes you're correct Del Shannon released the Pomus-Shuman song a couple of months before Elvis but it certainly wasn't the song for Del as great as he was his version doesn't come close to Elvis' It was originally released on Del's LP Runaway

  • @elamite66 no del shannon released it originally actually

  • This is so awesome that the King should have come back to life just so he could kill himself for releasing his ultra-crap version. FIrst, cut himself shaving; second, drink a cup of pee; third, pull the trigger. POW. Take that, Elvis! And take Memphis with you!

  • His voice sounds amazing on this track.

  • @lavadome68 Are you crazy this is an Elvis hit from 1961
