@DJR1ddl3r that is considered illegal otherwise you could upgrade to fl 10 with a registration code from their website. you could never find a patch or crack online or anythiing.... (wink) also, the pattern blocks are still there you just need to go into the settings in general settings and click "turn on legacy pattern blocks"

Thumbs up if by the end of this video you REALLY didn't want to stop now

skrillex didnt invent this sound like a lotta people think... people like feedme (spore) had been using it a long time before skrillex was around

@72OllinBear There is a way to turn on the pattern blocks in Fl Studio 10...
just go to General Settings and enable legacy pattern blocks ;)

i like how you put in the end "enjoy skrillex wanna-be's" xD
the part around 1:20 confuses me. and i dont really see whats going on. when you 'drag the clip to your scroll roll thingy' i dont see how you drag it in there. and im stuck at that part. hm. any help is appreciated. thanks.

@MattFestle if you watch the area to the left of the blue knob in the top right corner of Newtone, one of the boxes sorta gets darker, this is the box im clicking on, then you just click on that box and the clip will appear in your playlist, its the one that looks like a piece of paper with an arrow. after doing this you drag the clip into slicex and chop away!! adding a delay and mixing up the octaves really adds character so try that!

will newtone work for studio 9 producer edition?
JessJessism 4 months ago
@JessJessism unfortunetly, newtone is new and for FL Studio 10, but im sure if you can find the VST download, it will work just as any other VST plugin

@DJR1ddl3r The better question is why would you still be using 9? There is not benefit at all. People who complain about not having pattern blocks are silly, the clips work the same.

@72OllinBear Whatever DAW you use is your choice, everyone is entitled to their opinion. there might be the possibility thst @JessJessim is using a friends copy of FL 9 and cant get their hands on FL 10 without paying.
