Claudi Meneghin: Canon 2 in 1 in A= upon a ground at the octave, with music score. Played at MIDI organ. Temperament: septimal meantone, 31 56^0.1 fifths with C in 14th position .Tuned with Scala. Implemented with Timidity++.

  • Hello, A= (A subminor) refers to the fact that lowered minor thirds prevail in this piece. They are got by raising a note by a natural seventh and lowering the result by a natural fifth (here turned to meantone approximation). This is equivalent to multiply frequencies by 7/6 (here changed to meantone approximation as well). Enjoy.
