On Aug. 31,2009, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky held a town hall meeting at Niles West High School. Only 900 of her selected friends and supporters got "winning lotto" tickets to enter the auditorium. The rest of her "sheeples" were stranded outside with us....THE PATRIOTS.
The GOP is the party of "no", and the Tea Party is the movement of "No." Both have no meaningful proposals or intellect. They're just AGAINST lots of shit. Not really FOR much of anything.

What exactly do you "patriots" gain from fighting viable HC reform options?? I don't get it! Do you propose any ALTERNATIVES?? Have you petitioned your gov't FOR those alternatives? Or are you just gonna say "no" to current proposals and do nothing of your own?

Yes... you're "patriots" alright. Patriots who fight against their fellow citizens getting increased healthcare coverage and access to fight out-of-control medical costs simply b/c some right-wing blowhard talk show host told them it's "socialist" or will "ration" care. Folks who don't wanna help simply because GOVERNMENT is the one that may provide it, because the private sector is SOOO infallible... right?

What a bunch of dupes... Fighting AGAINST their own best interests because of what rich Wall Streeters, lobbyists, think tanks, and Republican politicians keep telling them about how "evil" increasing hc coverage, IF it comes from gov't, must be? Or how it's "socialist", even though NONE of them have any CLUE as to what real socialism is!
I hate to break it to you, but REAL socialism is NOT simply the gov't providing certain services! It's a little more complex than that.
