How do you condition them?

@kmsboots - I can't remember conditioning these boots often - probably some generic leather cleaner. I think the leather is not a more expensive type, so it hasn't worn like good leather that is not taken care of properly might. Still, I love these boots!

@mentalkboots I have looked at the Laredo boots that are for sale today, and they look cool. But im not sure the quality is the same anymore.

@kmsboots - It seems to me the Laredo boots I see online look to be of lesser quality. So you're probably right!

Do you want all the hardware on your boots? The metal toe caps, ankle harness and metal piece around the back of the heel? Or just a plain cowboy boot?

@mentalkboots I like the ankle harness and metal piece around the back of heel. I dont need a metal toe cap. But i like the boulet with the metal piece on the toe.

@kmsboots - If you don't want the toe cap, then you could probably buy any pair of cowboy boots and most likely find a harness and heel piece that would fit the boots. With the toe cap it's trickier because cowboy boots have lots of different types of toes, so the fit won't always work. (Luckily mine came "as is".)
