Keep in mind that some of the 30001 series PS2s have 10 screws held instead of just 8.

@eighteen18up The fan is VERY important, since your PS2 might overheat and possibly go up in smoke. If it gets too hot, your ps2 probably won't function

why exactly does the amercian Network adapter have two ethernet ports and the european one only one?

@eighteen18up Try re-connecting or soldiering, it's quite dangerous, and could probably start a fire with 12-24 hrs continous gameplay

i broke the cooler fan's wires in the process. how important is the cooler fan? do ps2's have an overheating problem? sumone help me plz. im nervous

you forgot to include removal of the arc shield..that little clear plastic piece....can be kinda tricky reinstalling it. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE, IF ANYTHING ON THE POWER-BOARD COMES INTO CONTACT WITH METAL IE THE FRAME...ZAPPP WILL BE THE LAST SOUND YOUR PS2 EVER MAKES.

while opening the ps2 i just couldn't help but notice the:
"DO NOT OPEN! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK"
