Spirit of Excellence is a registered charity #88310 6809 RP0001, founded by John & Colleen Kosti in 2003 after 20 years developing their education and ministry experiences. SOE operates as an Educational Institute dedicated to the relief of poverty and developing potential within the Urban Community, providing free programs for low-income children, youth and their family members as well as training in Personal Image & Improvement, the Sacred Arts and using music & the arts for Gods Glory.

The Mission of Spirit of Excellence is to:
•Provide relief of poverty and the improvement of lives physically, economically and spiritually
•Provide participants the opportunity to discover and develop their potential
•Provide participants hope for improved living, through programs that show them a plan of action
•Offer enhancement of personal expression through the arts, improved social skills, literacy, community participation and support Spiritually, Socially and Economically

VISION: Uniquely linking the arts, life skills, literacy and education to;
•Provide after school programs and community events for children and their families (special events, concert, workshops day, evening and weekend) within the urban community the resources to explore their full potential
•Train and engage participants to be successful role models and mentors within their families and give back into their community.
•Relieve poverty by providing food and other basic supplies to persons of low income, and establishing, operating and maintaining a Healthy Food program with practical lessons on healthy cooking, nutrition, and social development for children at risk and of low income
•Providing counseling, library, book club, training and other similar programs to relieve poverty through educational support, life skills, mentoring, social and cognitive skill development
•Provide individual assessments for a customized plan of action and program goals

Spirit of Excellence Centre provides customized programs in three components:




1. Physical 2. Economical 3. and Spiritual Education
