Hardwood flooring adds warmth and beauty to any room, and is also a great way to increase the value of your home. At Lowes, youll find a variety of hardwood flooring styles and colors, from domestic species like Oak and Maple to exotics like Brazilian Cherry and Bamboo. Engineered flooring can be installed on any level of the home, but different installation methods are necessary for different types of subfloors. These instructions will show you how to glue down an engineered floor to a concrete subfloor.

  • Been laying ALL floors for 27 yrs now! This is NOT how we do wood floors, not even close to a good DYI teacher but I do like that they are showing the wrong way how to do it, then the homeowner gets frustrated and calls ME! haha

  • jus bought 550 sqft 5/8 x 4"s engneered maple @ 2.05 per sqft.tax included this morning!

  • 3.00 per foot!

  • @snyperkyzer

Did you mean the wood should have cost $3.00 or $300.00?

  • @79Testo ..yes she was ripped off thouroughly!..the wood itself should have only been around 3.00 an thats for high grade 5/8s engineered wood! labor max, i would pay would be 500! period

PS; most women have Pride like that they will never ask for help!

  • The contractor was not "Lowe's" it was an independent contractor that is a thief.

  • My sister just payed $4500.00 CAD for laminate flooring. This job was easy. The floor surface was a total of 400 square feet and a "trim" (the trim was $500.00 extra).

My sister did not ask me so she got ripped off.

  • @donsjuand I'm putting together a video series on the various facets of home building that I will be offering on the web soon, hardwood will be one of them, so stay tuned to my YouTube channel for more info, also will be publishing my new book on how to build a home yourself at half its value.

  • @BAMAMARV Just curious, what would you include? Please be specific.
