Have you ever compared the SH-4 to any EMG pickups.  I'm thinking about getting EMG 81 and 85 pickups for my guitar but like the sound of this SH-4. Also, check out my song if you have the chance and let me know what you think.

@ploopterfarm Nope, havent had the chance to test with EMGs though I've heard its loud and clear ( ala Zakk Wylde). With EMGs, if you run out of batteries, pickups wont work.

Absolutely no reason to get a decent pickup when your amp sucks that hard.

Somethings sucks there and Im guessing it isnt the pickups. It sounds like a guitar played through a tin can (a sealed tin can) underwater, piped into a dudes wetsuit, miced near his ass for added improvement a possible wet fart would give it, then routed through a broken set of earphones with a $2 desktop mic right at the earpiece to pickup.......well everything, except what the pickups can do.
