  • This video is gold, i received my indian santoor today and i am really glad i found this helpful video online!

Thanks man, i will be watching and learning!

  • its a persian instrument :) Its amazing i got one from iran today :D

  • Great video, real beautiful playing at the end. I was wondering if you could direct me to some info on tuning it (to the one you have so i can fit it with western instruments) i bought one about 6 years ago now and have never played it really because it came untuned, also i got duped and got a pretty poor built one of plywood. still it has nice resonances and is a shame it's never been played

  • nice video mate

  • Hi Sachin! Nice introduction there. I'm from Europe and here santoor is expensive. Do you know where could I get a quality one (not made of plywood) in Delhi? My friend is going there this autumn and he could pick it up for me. I also noticed there are variations in number of strings from 72 to 100. What does that mean? Less notes or less strings per note?

    Thanx.
