Count Every Child

In 2005, Plan launched a global campaign to register all the world's children. 48 million children are 'lost' each year by the failure to create some record of their existence, the number of invisible children worldwide could be as many as half a billion. Over the last four years Plan's campaign for Universal Birth Registration (UBR) has spread across the world and a total of 40 million people across 32 countries have been registered giving them access to basic human rights including education, healthcare, marriage and employment.
