  • this vid is really helpful even though i know most of this already your a great player much better than i am 5 stars man if you have time could you check out one of my covers and rate/comment?

  • What helped me get away from guesswork was ONLY to think of chords in context of the key they are played in -So if the song is in the key of C ie chords C F G Am Dm Em the only note modifications that will work are those that are in the scale of the key of C ie CDEFGAB -So we can take an Am and add D, F, G B etc However in the key of G notes CDEF#GAB Am won't work with F but will with F# So Same chord in a different key may sound wrong
