Having just finsihed all the James Bond books by Fleming, Daniel Craig portrays Bond as he was written in the books.

I know every one has there favourite Actor playing Bond.

All I am saying is the Portrayel of Bond by Craig is the most accurate to the books and the films he has been in so far are pretty good

quantum served as a closing of casino royale.... getting past bonds one true love vesper .....

its more of the closure of the first movie than an actual sequel if you will ....

i think it's the fact that as years pass, people's attention spans shorten. Hence we get shit films like transformers 2.

that's why bond lovers (partially me) like royale, no bond charm what-so-ever here, craig was a wooden stilt in this film. The old 3 second cut per shot doesn't cut for me. But on the other hand it is really royale pt 2 so I can live with the plot (albeit a relativly weak bond villian). I think the next one will be back to the high standards the series has established.

This movie is a master piece but true bond lovers will always like Casino Royale because of the situation Bond was in that movie in the end. Its not just about actions and actions but the real deal is Bond charm here.

Maybe I'm crazy but I prefer this movie than Casino Royale - more action scenes, great storyline and visual effects. Daniel Craig was fantastic. Olga Kurylenko (Camille) is definitely one of the most beautiful and memorable Bond Girls plus she looked much stronger than weak Vesper in Casino Royale. Mathieu Amalric, Judi Dench, Giancarlo Giannini were great as well. Gemma Arterton looked absolutely useless.

it's not all craig to blame.Movies today simply can't draw the viewer into the story.5 minutes after leaving the theatre you've already forgotten it.
