Lost In The Stars - Barbershop Song - HD - Multitrack

Randy MacLaren (jamrc46) http://www.youtube.com/jamrc46 has been a long time Youtube friend of mine. He has a beautiful, rich, deep, booming voice that all of us want. He currently sings bass with the MountainTown Singers Chorus in the Pioneer District http://www.mountaintownsingers.org .They represented the Pioneer District at Internationals last year, and they are headed there again this year. Several months ago, he contacted me about collaborating on a song called Lost In The Stars. I personally had never heard this song, but thought I would give it a try. After all, who would pass at a chance to sing with a great voice such as Randy! So here it is, Lost In The Stars, arranged by Warren Buzz Haeger and as sung by Four Renegades.

Lead Vance Perry (vanceperry)
Bass Randy MacLaren (jamrc46)
Tenor Vance Perry (vanceperry)
Baritone Vance Perry (vanceperry)

Thanks for listening!!

  • I grew up in theBoston area and heard the Four Rascals ,Four Statesmen, and Boston Common all in their prime. You are right up with the best Vance. Great show on your part and keep up the great Harmony

  • I remember back to a time last year when you sold your recording equipment for the winnebago. The world would have been at a loss if it weren't for your kids and that Rockband "replacement" mic that surely helped us to get here :P

And Randy; Amazing work. Keep on singing on youtube with us!

  • This is absolutely fantastic. I've played it five times in a row (so far). It's a wonderful arrangement, and your voices add richness and beauty to the song. You have my compliments and my admiration.

  • pshhhhh

  • My chorus is ending our 2011 show with this song. It's such a great piece, very emotional and moving. My quartet is thinking about taking it to contest, but we've been told we need special permission? Who knows, but regardless...great performance, both of you. (kinda funny to say to barbershoppers, won't you agree?)

  • that was great- You made me smile ear to ear!

  • God I love music...what would I do without it.

  • I see you got some company there. Sound really great! I enjoy everyone of you videos. Keep maximizing your talent. I have brought me much inspiration.

  • How did I miss this one until now!?

  • Nice ;)

  • FABULOUS. One of my favorite arrangements of all time. Well done.

  • Hi Vance, hi Randy.

Very nice job! Thank you for posting. We sang this song at Harmony College in Germany back in 2006 and it blew me off my feet! David Wright came to us and rehearsed with us . He is just GREAT! :-)
