* جناب بریلوی رقم طراز ہیں:

"جب تم کاموں میں متحیر ہو تو مزارات اولیاء سے مدد مانگو۔ ( الامن والعلی ص 44۔

* قبروں کی زیارت کے فوائد بیان کرتے ہوئے جناب احمد رضا کے ایک پیروکار کہتے ہیں:

"قبروں کی زیارت سے نفع حاصل ہوتا ہے نیک مردوں سے مدد ملتی ہے۔ ( کشف فیوض از محمد عثمان بریلوی ص 39۔

جناب بریلوی رقمطراز ہیں: میں نے جب بھی مدد طلب کی' یا غوث ہی کہا۔ ایک مرتبہ میں نے ایک دوسرے ولی (حضرت محبوب الٰہی) سے مدد مانگنی چاہی' مگر میری زبان سے ان کا نام ہی نہ نکلا۔ بلکہ یا غوث ہی نکلا! ( ملفوظات ص 307۔

مزے کی بات ہے کہ بریلوی اعلیٰ حضرت سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے کہا:

"میں حقہ پیتے وقت بسم اللہ نہیں پڑھتا' تاکہ شیطان بھی میرے ساتھ شریک ہوجائے۔ ( ملفوظات

* لوگوں کے پاؤں چومنے کی عادت بھی تھی۔ ان کے ایک معتقد راوی ہیں کہ :

"آپ حضرت اشرفی میاں کے پاؤں کو بوسہ دیا کرتے تھے۔ ( اذکار حبیت رضا طبع مجلس رضا لاہور ص ٢٤

* جب کوئی صاحب حج کرکے واپس آجاتے تو ایک روایت کے مطابق فوراً اس کے پاؤں چوم لیتے ( انوار رضا ص ٣٠٦

بریلوی اعلیٰ حضرت پان کثرت سے استعمال کرتے تھے' حتٰی کہ رمضان المبارک میں وہ افطار کے بعد صرف پان پر اکتفا کرتے۔ ( انوار رضاص ٢٥٦

اسی طرح حقہ بھی پیتے تھے۔ ( کتنی عجیب بات ہے دوسروں کو معمولی باتوں پر کافر قرار دینے والا کود کیسے حقہ نوشی کو جائز سمجھتا ہے اور اس کا مرتکب ہے؟

دوسری کھانے پینے کی اشیاء پر حقہ کو ترجیح دیتے۔ ہمارے ہاں دیہاتیوں اور بازاری قسم کے لوگوں کی طرح آنے جانے والے مہمان کی تواضح بھی حقے سے کرتے ( حیات اعلیٰ حضرت ص ٦٧

یعنی پانچ ہستیاں ایسی ہیں جو اپنی برکت سے میری امراض کو دور کرتی ہیں۔ محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ' علی رضی اللہ عنہ، حسن رضی اللہ عنہ، حسین رضی اللہ عنہ، فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا( فتاویٰ رضویہ جلد ٦ ص ١٨٧
