  • do not drop bombs on us.

  • If you're not saved only one prayer you can pray wil reach Gods ears and that's the prayer asking him into your heart so that you shall be saved...unsaved people praying to God doesn't have any affect. Having saved people pray for you is what has the ability to do something. So if you've don't understand why your prayers don't get answered and you've never prayed the "sinners prayer" then that's the reason it has no effect.

  • @bigtw09 Prayer doesn't work. Look up Harvard Prayer Study using google. If anything having others pray for you causes people with serious illnesses to have more complications. Sorry for bursting your bubble.

  • "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

How does what they say fully relate to that passage? I understand they're trying to do the right thing by having intellectual conversation, but I'd argue that one of man's biggest downfalls is the fact that we try to dictate what has been taught to us through our holy texts in a way that fits to our personal viewpoints.

    Just my opinion.Blesses

  • uh...all prayers are not equal, that was the answer....just answer the question, dont try to get around it using positive language.

  • Plus you have to remember that we are all part of the same body. When we pray for others we are effectually praying for the Lords will to be done in that persons life which can spill over into our own life. Because we are the same body. It also builds the faith of the church as a whole to see Gods hand move, when we collectively pray in the situation at hand. Like I said we are all interconnected through Christ, so it effects everyone! Thank you Lord!
