Right before this interview, Kip lunged at the officer with a knife and screamed "kill me please." They had to pepper spray him.
The whole thing is just so damn sad.

Secondly, I have schizophrenia (I had my first psychotic episode at 14) and whilst listening to his confession tapes I find his manner and speech very similar to my own thoughts and speech during acute psychosis. I am in no way a expert on this subject so I would love to hear some other informed opinions
