This is a single ended tube amp I built using three new old stock vintage tubes. Two 1626 tubes from 1944 and a 12SL7GT from 1945

    Layout/Drilling/Filing the case took ~4 hours

    Custom turret boards ~2 hours

    Soldering/Connecting wires - 4 hours

    This was my first tube project, also no previous experience of metal work. I'm sure it can be done much faster given the right tools.

  • great video for someone planning one of these soon.. have to admit i stayed for the song after the first few picks.. any video showing it working?. the live version of Fear of the Dark cranks..
