@mjmcomputers Thanks man, but I can't even get to the windows 'home' screen :(. Am getting a copy of windows so I am gonna give it a try :D

@mjmcomputers Yes, it gives me start with last good configuration, normal, safe mode with networking prompt and safe mode. I have tried all of these but it just reverts back to the original message

@mjmcomputers soooo i downloaded it, extracted it and moved it to a cd (i downloaded hirens boot CD) and tried to put in my laptop but it still didnt wanted to go to the setup??? im not so good at that stuff so i hope you could send me to inbox or something how to do it??

@Imeandmyselfable You do not have to pay for it. As long as you have an XP cd you can make it yourself. You can also find them to download already made.

@mjmcomputers but i saw that it has to be payed for mini windows xp but i dont live in america so its quite a problem to pay it. im downloading one so i'll see did i get it... hope it helps

@bananahamockboy7 You can create a hiren's boot usb drive with mini xp on it and do it with that. You should be able to find plenty guides on how to create one. Search around on google.
hi, ive got a message saying that windows cannot start up properly, because it was interrupted while switching on last time. I don't have my windows disc; can you help me??

@2011Olympics Does it give you any startup options? like normal?

@2011Olympics Most likely a virus or a failing hard drive has corrupted the system files in Windows. The only option is either to backup your data and reinstall windows or perform a repair install of windows. You could try following the steps on this video for replacing the registry files, but it may not work.
