Excellent garage rocker on Pyramid, released in 1966. The band was from Concord, North Carolina. Flip is You know. Audio transfered from original vinyl 45.

  • He sounds like he's 14, that's real teen garage!

  • @FrankLincolnWright Yes, probably highschool kids. I had a look in Fuzz Acid And Flowers encyclopedia, but there's very little info to find about this band. They were from Concord, NC, and this was their only 45. Apparently they also appeard on a local TV show called "Kilgo's Kanteen".

  • how old was the singer??

  • @FrankLincolnWright I don't know, but I guess he was still in his teens when this was recorded.

  • @HeidiLoveUall Haha, världen är liten! I play 60's garage, freakbeat & psych and 50's & 60's r'n'b, blues, rockabilly & soul. It depends on what place I am DJ:ing. You can see the range of music I play on my YT channel. Ebay is just awesome, I purchase most of my 45's from there, often from sellers in the US. Ha det bra! ;) /Mathias

  • @Glendoras No way, that is brilliant! I live in Sweden as well, did absolutely not know you could get a hold of these treasures around here, or on ebay! What music do you play then? Must be very interesting to work as a DJ, sounds like a dream. Hope you're well!

    Regards /E

  • @HeidiLoveUall I occasionally work as a DJ and spend an aweful lot of money on records I am afraid.. ;-) Most of the records are bought on ebay, but also many of the garage rock records are bought from a guy I know here in Stockholm that has been selling some of his collection.

  • @Glendoras Oh, yeah, me too, so fantastic, much feeling in every song. I must ask you, how did you succeed to get the hold of so many nice records? You seem to have a great collection of em!

  • @HeidiLoveUall Heidi, thanks for the kind comment! Personally I am too young to have lived throught the sixties, but like you, I am sure it was very cool! ;-) I love the music from that period of time!

  • Glendoras, you're great! Thank you for all uploads, really great channel. It must have been fantastic to live through the 60's
