I believe you're being too hard on Hill. Bad shot selection, rush, bad positionning are all regular rookie mistakes. You didnt stand out but he has excellent foot work on the post, combinning that with his good middle/short range shot, he has everything to develop the fade away shots, he just need to improve he's balance. He's also good on the low post, finishing down the rim, to become a face up center would just be talent waste.
hell naw he average a double double it college and had game with 15 plus reb plus it aint like in college he scored garbage pts i watch every one of his games and he average 18 pts yeah he is impatient he pick offense fouls from double teams a lot of times
I kind of agree, although I have less optimism than you. He is not an efficient scorer, nor does it looks like he rebounds, and on defense he will not be able to cover athletic or strong 4's. As to an upgrade over Lee? Lee was the Knicks most important player last season, so no.
Man, with stuff like this, you should be working for ESPN or NBA TV. Very good and detailed breakdown, hopefully for the Knicks sake, he'll use the 09-10 season to gain the necessary experience of what playing in the NBA is like so he can get in the weight room and practice his post game so he'll be effective come 10-11.
could he be something special? who knows, i think he could be though.
