What a gem! Sounds like my old 56 Vicky 312 that had

a 3/4 cam with walker continental glass packs. I

wouldn't change a thing on that car.

Wow. That is one beautiful car!! I am only 16 years old, and I can tell you that I still treasure pieces of automobile history like that! Did you rechrome or can you get brand new parts for the 55? I REALLY want to rebuild my own, although I am not too fond of the glass top. I think I'll just get a solid roof. Where did you get all your parts? I'd really like to know! Thanks!

There's some stainless items which require polishing, but I've had alot of the other pieces rechromeed. There is alot of NOS and REPOP parts available for these old cars.

Carlisle, PA. is a great place to go for parts contacts. It's also amazing what's available from ebay.

I have a 55 (non glass top) 1 owner 52K mile car and the value is in the history of the car. If its original it has history . Thats why I have no time for fibreglass 32 and 34'ss

Sure brings back memories of my '55 convertible. This car was stock everything and with the stock auto-trans. you could still get rubber in3RD GEAR!!!
