@Thaluckysun1 The Catholics in N. Ireland don't even want to leave the UK anymore, the IRA had a lot of support in the 70's and 80's for civil rights of Irish Catholics by the late 90's there was more equality. Now the provo's are non existent and there's barely any violence at all

@alanheath3 @alanheath3 I'd argue with you, but it's Christmas & I will respect the fact that it is known as a day of happiness. Believe what you want, deny what you do not hold true, but just remember that on this day God sent his son to prove that he is watching over us, he will not let people live in oppression for eternity. Nollaig Shona Dhuit.

@alanheath3 You immediately identified yourself as ignorant to the Troubles when you mentioned "bomb" since the British think the IRA are terrorists for the explosives that were aimed at mil. forces, & again I believe the UK should've dealt w/ the situation diplomatically rather than sending a thousand men to their deaths. The U.S/U.K commit crimes against civis more than the IRA did. It's sad that the Troubles occurred, but it's even worse that you don't know what truly happened. Blindness...

@alanheath3 The Prov. IRA utilized unconventional warfare, invented by Michael Collins, because it was the most effective path as Britain continued to deny the option of solving issues diplomatically. Yes, the IRA's splinter groups did terrible things. But if the U.K did not have the world brainwashed into thinking that the Irish were the terrorists, then they would see the covered-up Loyalist/Prot. Paramilitary atrocities, the war crimes, etc. that sparked the Irish fight for freedom.
freedom fighters .... just like the americian revolution...england considered ous to be terrorists..the media tells yu what to think ... do yu believe them?

@Thaluckysun1 They were terrorists in the American revolution. Just the media, as you put it, usually tells a different story.
