BMW E39 540iA Muffler Delete Part 1

"Y" Resonator still in place, just replaced the rear 2 cans with the 3" galvanized pipe - not even mandrel bent. Tip is bent down, for the stock/stealth look - I'm sure if it was straight it'd sound louder.

hi guys i want to ask if i do this to my 528 will i have reduce in performance? i have replaced the 2 cans with some other can to make this kind of noise but it reduced my performance dramatically. if this one doesnt reduce performance i will do the same. thanks man. sounds great

@peopl3 thank you for the kind words, unfortunately it'll sound rather raspy on a 528 if you were to do this so I would stick with a perfomance muffler (dinan, eisenmann)

@Expendablexxxx nope, just cut off the muffler (both cans) and replace with 3" pipe thats turned down

Was there anything specifically you had to do..I wanna know what to tell the guys at the muffler shop how I want it done to make it sound like yours
