Anna Vissi's concerts at Asteria in 1998 were so spectacular that they catapulted her to international artist/musician acclaim. She was 45 when her 30 year career finally blew up outside of Greece. This concert would, later that year, be launched by Sony on an International Tour to promote her talent. Her passion on stage, her incredible vocals and arabic/greek/operatic inspired music intoduced new fans from around the world. Stars like Aretha Franklin, David Morales, Prince, Patricia Field, Prince Charles, to name a few, would be seated front row at her concerts.
