  • You go Hawkeye. Remember going to Carpinteria Middle School? If so do you remember Me? my name was Andrew Lee

  • Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for stopping by.

Of course I remember you ... and Carpinteria Middle School.

I hope I can come back to your school again ... someday.

Please say 'Hi!" to all my CMS pals.

  • Will do. I was in the group who made the song about....uh what was that song we made...oh yea Monty Python or something like that

  • Andrew,

I sent a CD to your CMS principal, Ms. Sexsmith, and a CD to Ms. Kaklamanos ... of me singing about a dozen of the songs the CMS students wrote. Have you heard it?

(Sorry, I don't remember seeing/reading the Monty Python song.)

  • Hawkeye...you rock!

  • Hi Andrew,

Glad you got to listen to the songs that your classmates wrote. Some of them were very good .. the "Holocaust Blues" song was a bit long, but still good ... and I've never heard a song about that subject ... so that's a first in blues music, as far as I know. I liked the "Taco" song ... because I love tacos :-) ... and all of the rest of the songs on the CD show that CMS students can write poetry/blues if they put their minds to it. Good going.

  • i may want to grill you soon. i am doing my first blues clinic and even though i know a lot of the history and teach it at shows, this is a blues clinic and you are the king!

  • Yes we got to listen to it today. I checked the whole CD box to see what songs were in there. There was no Monty Python. i actually thought the Holocaust song was GREAT, but i think it was a very long song

  • Thanks so much, MicheleMidnight.

    Much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Hawkeye Herman
