Actually a lot of things give up what time it's in. Nearly everything in the room didn't exist at the time it was made. Bleach, N64, Castlevania, etc. It was mainly just a parody of the Zelda commercial. If I had more time, I would of cared more about it... but eh, for one day of filming... it wasn't bad. I like it.
