@borjas1234 wtf are you talking about ive played both games and m2tw kicks the living sht out of ao1,2&3 the ao series is just a bunch of faggotry put together to make what i call "idioticraticmoronicalasslard" of a game and in the tw series you actually have to use strategy and in ao all you do is see a bunch of shitty graphics soldiers fight each other and bet whos gonna win in ao you have to get the best soldiers possible and in tw you can kill an army of gothic knights with english kinight!

Stfu about religion. Here are some facts:

Since the Jannisaries where from warmer places they where light armoured.

The English Knights who sometimes fought dismounted where heavy armoured.

But alter when firearms came from China, to Asia Minor and Central Asia, the Jannisaries got musket looking weapons which could penetrate any european armour.

So in 1100-1300 i vote English Knight.

In 1300+ I vote Jannisary.

I take it you've never played the campaign mode of M2:TW. Not to mention how massively more complex actual battle in the TW series are. Limited ammunition, fatigue, morale, flanking and so on. Compared to that, the AoE series is downright primitive.
