This is Chopin's Prelude in C minor (Op 28 no. 20) performed on the Blüthner Digital Model One. This video includes the tempi of this sequence displayed and sequenced in Logic 8. The tempo changes on ever quarter note of this sequence. This is required to accurately emulate the tempo/rubato changes of a world class classical pianist. These changes clearly add to the interpretation.

Sequenced by Ernest Cholakis http://www.numericalsound.com/

The Bluthner Digital Model One is a 9ft sampled grand piano library that can be played on a Mac or PC and Uses Native-Instruments Kontakt 2 Player. It was produced by Ernest Cholakis and Dan Dean. More information and demos at http://www.proaudiovault.com/

  • not an acceptable rendition of Chopin.

  • wrong notes at the begining

  • What is the method used to input the tempo changes? How do you derive the values? Any software I might use?

  • Very interesting!
