Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards - Neo Star : Stage 2

Well, we pretty much covered the jungle stage for this world, so now we venture deeper in to the caverns! Within these caverns we have an exciting mine cart ride, which of course has a crystal shard in it. This video also features the first time I actually restart a level to go back and get a shard! It was early into the level, so I figured it would not use up very much time. Also, I ended up getting a new power before starting the stage... in this case, Rock Cutter... I do believe this is the last time it turns up, so huzzah and all of that stuff. XD I am pretty sure that I have shown how incredibly broken the power is more than enough times now, hehe. =n.n=;

The shards in this one are not so bad... there is one immediately at the beginning, so keep an eye out. There is another during the mine cart portion, the last one requires Rock Bomb, so that gets rid of Rock Cutter this time around. Ah Kirby games and their always having at least two or three completely unbalanced powers mixed in with the rest. XD

oh i forgot u should try a few ice powers combos i forgot what most of them do XD

Lets see how many I can remember...

Ice: Spinning ice breath... fairly useful

Ice Ice: Giant snowball! ...Not too great

Ice Fire: Kirby melts... horrible

Ice Spark: FRIDGE!

Ice Cutter: Kirby goes skating! Kind of awkward

Ice Bomb: Lame snowman bomb is lame

...and I completely forget Ice Needle and Ice Rock... Someone else will have to fill in on those ones. XD

I can't remember...do you have to beat the level after getting a shard in order for it to count? Or can you quit the level and still have it?

You are considered having the shard the instant you touch it, so you can just leave the stage once you get it. =n.n=

Oh, don't forget to miss at least one shard before reaching the final boss. There's a 100% ending as well, and you wouldn't want to miss the first ending.

@Manonthe3up Ehehe... =>.>=;; Having finished recording the game, I can say that I only got the 100% ending. I have seen the non-100% ending before, though, so I at least know what it is.

Ice Needle is a snowflake! Quite useful in closed areas

Something no one notices: When Using Rock+Bomb, kirby wears a Metall hard hat! (You know, from the Mega Man series.)

Ice Needle turns you into a really big snowflake and Ice Rock gives you a curling stone.
