  • @rebelibya John quotes Jesus as identifying the "Comforter" with the Holy Spirit. It's really quite simple. The Holy Spirit has always existed as an aspect of God's essence, but the GIVING of the Holy Spirit, the outpouring on Pentecost, is the action to which Jesus refers when he speaks of "sending". The Holy Spirit now assumes an intimate role in the lives of believers.

  • The truth hurts doesn't it.

  • @DocumentaryGuy So you mean you have God in you , because you think that God a d holy spirit are equal ...

  • Jesus didn't say the existing holy spirit is the comforter ... But... Jesus i will pray the father to send you ANOTHER comforter... The key word here is ANOTHER. .. Sam pls no more lies and misleads

  • For a book that is suppose to be corrupted, muslims sure do quote it a lot

  • comforter does not mean someone that kills u if u dont believe. thats not at all what jesus taught and there is no way on earth or in heaven mubammad is who john talks about. it is the holy spirit. he comforts me all the time. muhommad is not a comforter but a pedophile and a murderer.

  • Jesus says to his diciples wait in Jerusalem for the coming of the holy spirit if it was mohammed 600 years later.....come on...also another helper being of the same kind as Jesus ..all diety...plus he the comforter is a person HE....I LOVE THE PREVIOUS ABIDING WITH THEM BUT THEN HE WILL BE IN THEM FOREVER..

  • @shahin3541 Exodus 29:36 And you shall offer every day a bullock for a SIN OFFERING for ATONEMENT: and you shall cleanse the altar, when you have made an atonement for it, and you shall anoint it, to sanctify it.

  • @thelordglorified "...I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" John 20:17

It is quite clear from this verse that metaphorically we all who are guided by the spirit of God are the sons of God. Jesus(p.b.u.h) from his mouth never said that God is only his father. Try to follow the teachings in the true sense, keeping aside all your bigotries. And do this before you submit your papers to God in the form of death. Or else it would be too late !

  • @thelordglorified "..CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM HAVE OPPOSING VIEWS."

There are absolutely no opposing views between the Quran and the Divine Bible excep for your misconstrued interpretation and interpolations which make the Bible self-contradictory by itself. There are 28 passages in the Bible over one — and only one — true and living God.If you remove the AL (definite article) from Allah it is ILAH and in Aramaic the God of Jesus(p.b.u.h) ELAH. Islam do accept and honour Jesus(pbuh) but not as GOD.
