Wrap up of Worlds Qualifier 2009:
Many popular meta decks [ mostly AKB and BF ]
were used by people all around Singapore but eventually it all came down to BF as the winning decktype.
Promos Like Gorz,Raiou or even DT Cards like Natural Beast were NOT allowed and that made it gave players a more reckless mindset since now you can have an all out Attack on your opponent's open field without fear of Gorz dropping down.
Format of the Tournament was Swiss and registration started at 8:30 am .
There were a few original decktypes but they were unfortunately overcame by the oppressive Meta we are in.
Kitty era [ OCG= Original Cat Game]

Bird Park Dynasty?
Even though Japan's Nationals had no BF/BW in the Top 4
Worlds Qualifier in Singapore was riddled with BF/BW decks.
Mirror Matches were frequently between decktypes.
We can be assured that BF/BW would get hit by the September Banlist, but another question that Arises is:
What ABOUT DARK DIVE/DARK STRIKE??
His shown pretty much everyone that his a centerpiece of OTKs but even at 1 you could still pull OTKs off. Ban or limit?
It would be unusual to ban such an 'early' card [ Crimson crisis is still a pretty early set.] But in this kind of Meta?
Also , we see more play of Trap dustshoot as an OTK Stopper and a card to use against any deck.
Was Skill a factor in this Qualifier, yes.
Skill is what sets the Frame of a duelist apart
Netdecker------------Average Joe Duelist------------Good Duelist---------Pro------------------Holy Crap!
lowest Highest
Skil Rank in Neuxcharge's opinion ^^^^^^^^
Skill is important here as it sets apart a last minute Netdecker to a seasonal pro.
Know that if you netdeck, You would most probably only be able to reach the highest level of that Deck's creator but not Your TRUE Highest level.
All these Notes are reference to my Thoughts on Worlds 2009 and the Meta as of late.
