VOLVO COLLECTION - 700 SERIES AND 900 SERIES

THESE ARE MY CURRENT THREE VOLVOS.

I'VE OWNED SEVERAL OVER THE YEARS BUT NEVER THREE AT ONCE!

STARTED OFF WITH A 10,000 MILE, EX-DEMO 740 GL FROM 1991,

THEN A 1994 940 S (SALOON)

THEN I GOT INTO A 1997 940 CLASSIC LPT ESTATE.

I THEN HAD SEVERAL VOLVO-FREE YEARS, AS I CHANGED TO BE A LAND ROVER DISCOVERY MAN.

I HATED BEING DEVOID OF VOLVOS, SO FOUR YEARS LATER I BOUGHT A VOLVO 850 GLT ESTATE FOR A £1000 (BEARING IN MIND THAT MY FIRST 740 WAS £12,000). THEN I BOUGHT THE 740 GLT SALOON SEEN HERE.

THEN I GOT THE 940 CELEBRATION ESTATE - WHICH WAS THE SAME EXACT COLOUR AS MY 'YE OLDE' 940 CLASSIC ESTATE (BLACKBERRY METALLIC) - SAME 2.3 LPT ENGINE DERIVATIVE TOO.

FINALLY, I GOT THE S90 LUXURY EDITION.

ive got a 1991 960 its great needs engine work and looking for an s90 if my mum lets me i want a 760 also hehe

@iaincro92 - Simple advice. Go and find yourself another. They are still out there if you have the patience to wait and find a NICE one. My 940 estate (shown) had a mere 32,000 miles when I bought it.

I have a Land Rover Discovery 3 which cost £35,000. It's had 12 breakdowns in 4 years. I bought all three of my Volvos for less than 1 year's depreciation on the Land Rover Discovery - which is in the garage as we speak with a broken turbo! (breakdown number 13!).

None of the Volvos have broken!

I love the 740 turbo, my dads car when i was little (until it got tailgated) i loved the headrests and the furry gear aug thing haha
