True professional, he just shook it off and kept going. These days some whiney prick would walk off the stage or jump out into the audeance looking for a fight.
-
he kept on going, that took a lot to do that. He just went with it and I bet that pissed off the cake thrower worse than Alice losing his cool..

The above footage is reversed. Glen Buxton always played on stage left (the audience's right).
It's interesting to note that the bands in those days that came on stage and (sometimes) just made noise – e.g., Alice Cooper, MC5, Iggy & th Stooges, Pink Floyd – are the very same bands that we cherish and remember today, while the virtuoso musicians who played blues and pleasing tunes perfectly -- the Allman Brothers, Ten Years After, Cream -- are all forgotten.
I always favored the noise bands.

WHERE DID THEY GET A PIE IN THE FIRST PLACE lol

That is great! Alice is Master!!
If it was Iggy he would have thrown pieces of the pie back into the audience! hehe!

That's great! Alice is master!!
If it was Iggy he would have picked up the pieces of the pie and thrown it back into the crowd! hehe!

...nobody knows i killed a fly... and i liked it!!!
-
I like how he didn't get mad and throw a tantrum. But instead incorporated the pie in some of the act. Shows he has good show man ship. And doesn't take his self too seriously.

4:04...poor alice cooper
-
That was very disrespectful throwing that pie. That just shows you how many damn asses we have in this world. If you did not like alice then do not go !!!!DUMB ASS!!!!!!!!!!
-
Whatever jerk threw that pie was probably thinking at the time, "Take THAT!", thinking it'd discourage Alice or at least embarrass him. Not only did he power through it and use the pie as a prop, the Master's still rockin' it today! Nothing can keep this guy down.

HAHAHAH got ya....thats what the pie thrower would have said

Love it to Death wasn't out in 1970, was it just in prerecording?

@ListWritingMachine The band was playing Eighteen, Black Juju, and a couple of other songs before Love It To Death came out. Love It To Death came out in early 1971.
