Palm Pre Info and some of my thoughts

Here is some info and thoughts on the palm pre...




The Plam Pre battery is 3.7 volts DC and is 1150mAh. I am not sure about all Treo 800 And Centro battery's but the 2 I had for my old Treo and Centro are the same 3.7 volts DC at 1150mAh. I have worked with many diff. types of battery's if the mAh is the same and the voltage then you should be ok. I have been using them since day one and my phone does not get any hotter I even called palm tech and they said if the mAh is the same and voltage your good to go... I also went to the local sprint store and got 2 bad cells one for the Pre and one for the Centro and took them apart they are identical in every way once you take the out side gray or black sticker off the out side of the cell...

how can you fix a palm pre when the screen is blacked out n the battery is 66% n when you charge it, it says palm n stays there forever

@0123456789her123 Well you may have a bad file some place try to put it in recovery mode... With the phone off you hold on the volume up button then plug it in to your computer you then should get a usb sym. (hold the vol. up icon till you do) on the screen at this point you should run webos doctor to recover your pre hope this helps you may have a bad mobo as well.

I have the Palm Centro and was thinking about updating to the Pre, but for now i think im safe in assuming the features like video and such are not available yet, but how is the browser on it???? and how does it rank vs. the centro?

Yes its a lot better then the phone you have not a lot of apps yet but check out my other videos and precentral for home brew apps

Had a question for you about those screen protectors. I'd like to buy a couple myself. Can you provide an ebay link of the similar brand? Also, is there a hole on the screen protector for the little talk speaker hole?
