A simple donation can save a life

Want to help fight cancer? Taking just a few minutes of
your time to donate blood to City of Hope can mean a lifetime to
someone battling cancer.

Like many organizations throughout Los Angeles, The Phelps Group
recently hosted a blood drive to help cancer patients at the City of
Hope, collecting more than 35 units of usable blood.

City of Hope patients rely on more than 25,000 units of blood and
platelets each year for survival. There is no substitute or synthetic
form of human blood; therefore, donations are vital to the men, women
and children in City of Hope's care.
