My sentiment exactly! Is it also true that the old RouteMasters are more fuel efficient, more reliable, cheaper to maintain, and have more seating capacity than the modern London buses? I had read that somewhere.

Take a routemaster, cut off the top deck stick on wheels & tow it along behind the front with a huge piece of ugly rubber between the two. Already your taking up twice the road space to carry the same mount of people in a already congested city. Then remove any curves and lines to make it as box like as possible to remove its long loved unique character. Make it more difficult to maneuver. Do away with a conductor so you can hold up the traffic at stops. Brilliant Progress!
