MUGEN: Spenoza Thunderhead

Hey, look, I got back into making MUGEN characters. This one is 99% complete; just need to fix up the portraits and it's ready for use!

For those of you who don't know, Spenoza is from an obscure SNES Japan-only VS Fighter called "Battle Tycoon: Flash Hiders SFX". I randomly came across it recently and I'm glad I did.

Almost all of Spenoza's moves are copied as-is from the game, but I've added a couple to give her a more competitive edge in the harsh world that is MUGEN. There may be small kinks to work out yet, but all in all she is playable and quite visually cool too.

Interesting stuff here. I've actually known about Battle Tycoon for a long time now and I find it cool that you are doing this. I'm working on making videos for obscure games on my website and Battle Tycoon is one of them.

However, I'd like to point one thing out; I'm pretty sure Spenoza is a guy (A very vain one at that). I can look in my manual for the game, but I'm pretty positive that he's a dude.

Do you have plans to add other characters from Battle Tycoon in MUGEN? I would love to see Harman, Bang, Jail Lance, and Carlnarsa in MUGEN personally...just thinking about it makes me want to finally give MUGEN a whirl. I've known about MUGEN for YEARS now, but never really used it myself.

This video has inspired me now...making a MUGEN filled with obscure game characters. I'll have to look into.

I hadn't planned on it, no. Spenoza was the only character I really liked from the game, though Carlnarsa is pretty fun too.

I've made/half-made other MUGEN chars too. If you have somebody you'd like me to make, I'm open to it as long as you can provide me with some of the stuff... I ripped all the Spenoza sounds/graphics myself, but it was quite irritating, let me tell you :)
