Personally I like the song, but can't stand the vocals. I could hardly stand the studio vocals, and personally she sounds worse live. Its like Adam Gontier from 3DG type thing.

Tarja, Anette, who gives a crap anymore. I will admit that my favorite NW album is Century Child, but its completely unrelated to who the singer is. Its not about Tarja vs. Anette, its about new Style vs. Old style. Go ahead and replace the lead singer with a frog for all I care, people focus way too much on the Tarja and Anette feud and dont take time to realize that the instrumentals play as much a role in breaking or making an album.
