This is "My Hometown" by Charlie Robison. I tuned all my strings a half step down to fit my vocals. The Chords I use are: G, Cadd9, and D. It's an easy but great song. Sorry about the sound quality, I have a cheap camera. If anyone wanted to know what kind of guitar I play, it is a Martin Dx1. I use D'Addario EXP17 strings (medium gauge).

If you are wondering what I am looking at, I had to put the lyrics infront of me so I wouldn't forget them.

I have been playing guitar now for almost 2 years. I am self taught. I just strum alot and I am trying to learn how to pick and maybe do some solo stuff. I want to play around town someday. I have never had any singing lessons, can't you tell. The only singing lessons I have are Karaoke. LOL! That's probably why I sound the way I do.

I hope you enjoy.....

  • @cbobcat50 you gotta listen to the song man. strum patterns are overrated. they make playing the guitar more mathematical than musical.

  • Awesome. Can you tab the intro though? Little hard to see from the video

  • Awesome cover, man! Love that song.

  • You did a great job! I love the song, it takes me back to my home town. Keep playing and keep singing!

  • Very good.

  • Do you know how to play loving county? I'm trying to learn it.
