Our Pitbulls

Our family is full of Pitbulls and we are proud to have them! This highly stigmatized breed has given the world the wrong impression by no fault of their own. Pitbulls are targeted by the wrong people who breed them, fight them, abuse them and neglect them. There are more Pitbulls and Pitbull mixes than other breeds in any shelter in the country because the wrong people have their lives in their hands. Punish the deed not the breed!

Wish the world would see this, and get educated about this wonderful breed....after all, in the past they were known as nanny dogs, well trusted to watch out for people's most valued thing, children. It is what MAN/HUMANS have done to so many of these dogs, thus the reputation. I have known many, loving family companions, pit bulls are what they are raised to be. This whole stigma is because of cruel and STUPID, STUPID, STUPID humans.

Wonderful video! Shared on FB. I have a friend who is terrified of pit bulls, because of the biased media coverage stressing the attacks (too many of which aren't even involving pit bulls, but are billed as such). Now that her neighbor has a pit puppy, maybe she'll learn the truth.

ALL pitbulls should be put down. They are bad dogs and hurt people. Look at Michael Vick. If there were no Pits, he would not have gotten in so much trouble.

That was a beautiful video. These dogs do get a bad rap from people that don't understand them. The people or owners are the one's that make them the way they are:: either mean, or loving pets. So don't take it out on the dogs.

Unfortunately, the media has hyped up the negativity against pit bulls and most people have listened. Here in Ontario the bloody government has instituted a law prohibiting the ownership of pit bulls which is so unfair. This breed of dog will not survive because of the laws and abuse against them. It is so unacceptable and unfair to this noble but maligned breed.

Stunning photos of these beautiful dogs. Makes me want to snuggle in with them. Such beautiful animals you have. Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) is as unamerican as it can get. Small minds working out of fear.
