@ChadSmith1452You can overlay and blend around regular pastels. The texture is creamy but not wet. It does remind me of make-up too. It doesn't blow in the wind like some dry pastels do.

Can you combine it with regular pastel?
What's the texture like? It almost looks like makeup.
Is it somewhat creamy or completely dry?

can i use pastels to paint on skin, for example soft pastels?

I am so impressed by these new pastels. I had to stop using traditional pastels because of a severe allergy to the dust. Pan Pastels have allowed me to return to pastel art. They are so smooth and easy to work with. The applicators are also wonderful. I'm waiting fro my final set to arrive tomorrow and I will have all 60 colors. They have great prices at Dick Blick.
