This guy's been on campus for years harassing passers by, calling women "whores" even women who by almost any standards are conservatively dressed, attacking homosexuals outside of the Creative Arts building, insulting Arabs and Persians directly and in general... i've determined a new policy towards him: ignoring him and hurrying to class when late, but when i have the time i'm gonna play with him like a cat playing with it's prey.
In this particular video i argue with him, briefly, that the Early Christians were socialist. i begin to bring up the Ananias and Saphira story and picking up on it, he plays the whole "they gave it willingly" b.s. which is clearly a Lukan redaction to imply they had personal money, in conflict with Jesus' instructions to "sell everything" and "give it to the Evionim (Poor)," this being the name - according to Early Church Historians - of the Jewish sect of Jesus and his brother James. i don't get into all that with him though, as he already has trouble staying focused on the topic at hand without changing it to homosexuality.
Incidentally, in relation to the final argument of homosexual "Church art," by the preacher here, Professor James Beck (no relation to Glenn) the author of "The Three Worlds of Michelangelo," asserts that despite modern rumors, Michelangelo was not a homosexual. While it is hardly a concern of mine whether he was or wasn't a homosexual, Beck tells Dalya Alberge of The Times in the article, 'Michelangelo is not gay, says scholar" in February, 1999, that this contention is lacking any historical support.
Awesome vid.

I guess this guy left. I haven't seen him since I came on campus Fall '10.
