Black Bear in Downtown Vancouver

A BC Conservation Officer had to tranquilize a young black bear in Downtown Vancouver Monday afternoon. Calls flooded in VPD around 3:00 for a bear on a garbage bin truck parked right beside the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Apparently the bear hitched a ride from North Vancouver where it climbed into the truck looking for food. The sight drew quite the crowd and hundreds of onlookers took in the spectacle. Word is the bear is to be released in the Squamish Valley area

@OfficialWolftek It was kinda an inside joke. If you want VPD fast and in numbers always say the guy is armed. Hence the "was the bear armed" sort of play on words since we all know bears are armed, big time.
