Awesome Planes at UND!

If anyone has any information on these aircraft let me know, I would be intrigued to learn more. In the fall I'm signed up for an aerobatic class and I'll be flying that super decathlon. I get to do all the aerobatic maneuvers!

The video was taken with a Canon T2i with the kit lens. I'm still learning what the camera can do.

I believe these planes are the Super Decathlon, the Piper Cub, and the sea plane I am not yet familiar with but it says Top Cub on the engine cowling.

I am a student pilot studying Commercial Aviation at the University of North Dakota. I went on an observation flight with my friend flying and decided to take a video of the planes that were parked next to our twin-engine Seminole.

Nice aircraft, and the 550d video quality does look pretty decent. The focus blur seems rather annoying when zooming in/out doesn't it? Planning to get a 550d next week.

@xrayzulu1987 Thats what you get when you use auto focus.  I haven't tried manual focus during video yet.

The Top Cub is made by Cub Crafters. It's basically a 2005 PA-18 Super Cub.

We lost a Decathlon not too long ago, in an accident. However, never fear! We have a new one on the way! It should be here around March! Enjoy Aerobatics!
